We believe that the Antichrist’s system has commenced long ago, probably almost a thousand years ago. He maybe already here in this world, it’s just that he hasn’t reveal himself yet. The events that must happen before his reveal has not happen yet. And so, he has cannot appear, yet.

We came to such conclusions based on the study of the Quran and from the teachings/prophecies of our Messenger.

Tertullian (155–222): He spoke about the future breakup of the Roman Empire, “whose separation into ten kingdoms will bring on antichrist.” (The division of the Roman Empire was not completed until a.d. 476.)

Cyril of Jerusalem (315–386): “There shall arise, at the same time, ten kingdoms of the Romans at different places, indeed, the reigning all of them at the same time. After them, the eleventh will be antichrist, who, through magical wickedness, will seize the power of the Romans.” The Papacy not only took Rome as the seat of its authority, but even took the title of Pontifex Maximus from pagan Rome for its supreme bishop, the pope.

Jerome (347–420): “Says the apostle [Paul in the second epistle to the Thessalonians], ‘Unless the Roman Empire should first be desolated, and antichrist proceed, Christ will not come.’”

“The Antichrist will rule every tribe, people, language and nation.”

“All of the nations in the world will follow and worship the Antichrist.”

“The Antichrist will try to change the set times and laws.”

“The rule of the Antichrist will be during “a time of distress such as has not happened from the beginning of nations until then.”

“The Antichrist will be successful until the time of wrath is completed.”

I think George Walker Bush will fulfil this prophecy.

The beast, which you saw, once was, now is not, and will come up out of the Abyss and go to his destruction. The inhabitants of the earth whose names have NOT been written in the book of life from the creation of the world will be astonished when they see the beast, because he once was, now is not, and yet will come.

Listened to a preacher talk about how his real last names says the beast. How he is tall(bigger stature) than others and his eyes etc.

Anyway the preacher tried to portray him as the anti christ also because he comes from syria(assyria) and hence he is the one. A study on this would be awesome, thanks.
